1950 Bowman Larry Doby PSA 9

I'm always amazed at the hammer prices of 1950 Bowmans in PSA 9 condition. Commons regularly command $1500+.

This Doby cracked $6500!

50B Doby PSA 9 goes for $6577

I'm surprised that you're surprised. It is 1/1. He is a Hall of Famer, and one of the richest/most prolific collectors in this hobby wanted the card.
I am actively buying MIKE SCHMIDT gem mint baseball cards. Also looking for any 19th century cabinets of Philadephia Nationals. Please PM with additional details.

Not to mention that it's one of the best action shots on any card. I love this card - it's one of my favs!

Magicvic and Olemiss7 are having quite the slugfest for PSA 9 50Bs. Can't blame them, though. It's a really sweet set even missing a couple big names.
    WANTED:
2005 Origins Old Judge Brown #/20 and Black 1/1s, 2000 Ultimate Victory Gold #/25
2004 UD Legends Bake McBride autos & parallels, and 1974 Topps #601 PSA 9
Rare Grady Sizemore parallels, printing plates, autographs

    Nothing on ebay

    << <i>It is 1/1. He is a Hall of Famer... >>

Mine is not a high a grade,
but is the Only PSA/DNA certified version that
there is so far as I know, so it is worth a lot to me!

(I actually only paid like 15 bucks for it raw
and got it graded with the psa/dna combo deal)

    Hey,
does anyone out there know why my PSA/DNA certified card
would not be listed in the pop report?

there is a seperate line for cards that are PSA/DNA certified??

I'm not sure about the high bidder, but the #2 bidder appears to be the one and only Charles Merkel.

Great card and if it is a 1/1, I am a little surprised that it didn't hit 10K.
