I can't make out anything on this coin that helps me ID where/when it's from - Please Help! Thanks.

    Wow! I'm thinking a Spanish Ferdinand and Isabella gold coin (would date roughly 1474-1506).

    Sounds cool. How do I verify that it is original? If so, is it worth much?

    if you go to the ANACS web site, i believe they authenticate coins. Not sure of the value, but if it really is an authentic Ferdinand and Isabel gold coin, I'd think the value would be pretty high-- maybe not thousands, but hundreds.
