1964 1/2 dollar SMS, how can you tell

hello all,
I just bought an estate from a guy that just wanted these rolls out of his closet....
I only have about 20 rolls of these 1964's to look at, if i can get the tape off them (sealed back in 1964)
Is there a way to tell that their SMS besides that by their strike and condition???? any thing ?? thank you

sorry im a true rookie when it comes to 1/2 dollars and i have a lot of these and some franklins to search

You're not going to find any '64 SMS coins. There were only a few made, so they're pretty rare.

'65-'67 were the official years for the SMS program.
