14 8s, and this is the only 9. Any guessing going on as to the gavel price?

    SMR is $90, LOL

    I am guessing around $500-$600, although there is no telling what will happen if two people get in a war over it

    yeah, the bids so far are from those just bellying up to the table or want a first page 'my ebay' watch. Figure on a flurry of sniping at the end and I may well be off by 2 places.

    So let's try this - $16,249.00

    There, that should quiet the belly-uppers and the snipers without scopes.

    When I started my set, about the end of 1999. The pop for Dressen was 5 psa 7's, 0 psa 8's, 0 psa 9's...At that time about 12-15 cards

    had a pop of 0 in psa 8 and 9. The first 8 of Dressen to hit ebay sold for over $600.00. I won the 5th or 6th to hit ebay. At just under $200.00 I felt like "I got the deal of the year"...


    DJ Mariner, I think you have the correct amount at the high end. ($2,500.00). He paid 2.2+k for the Sheldon 1/2 and $2.5k for the Maz. 430 1/5. Over $1,800 for the Terry 1/1...
    If he wants he'll win it!!!

    I say between $1,500.00 & $2,500.00

    Obviously you are forgetting the first rule of graded card collecting, which is: 'buy the holder and not the card'. image
