Just out of curiosity and for general piece of mind. I was wondering what is the most valuable card (raw value) you have sent away to be graded?

Do you mean valuable BEFORE you sent it in or AFTER? Many have sent in what they feel are valuable cards only to have them returned far less so.

1952 Topps Mantle was most expensive I ever sent in, had paid $4000 for it a little over a decade ago, it came back a PSA 5, which is what I was expecting.
