The SAE looks AT to me, too. Sorry. I know it is a bummer to get BBed on a submission. It has happened to me two times with PCGS submissions, but I try like heck to not submit anything questionable.

Go Yankees.......I have been trying to make this coin in MS69 for years. I have looked at over 600 coins with no luck yet. I have about 5 more 1982d washington half commems that are shot MS69 so I will be giving it another shot.

Rampage...I also had my doubts, but about 90% of the board members felt strongly that it was NT so I said what the heck.

The SAE is the type of toning that has been holdered many times by both PCGS and NGC.

Russ...I agree with you. I think what is holding it back is the area that did not toned at 9 o'clock. Should I give it another try or does PCGS keep track (pictures) of artifically toned body bagged coins?

I don't know. It's possible they've shifted gears on these the same way they did with toned proof Jeffersons. They may now be just bodybagging them out of hand.

Nice job on the 68-D Ken halves. I have been after thisissue for a couple of years now and MS66 it the best I have ever seen.

clackamas....All these 1968-D halves got a grading bump for color.

Does anybody else think the silver eagle looks AT?
