    Of course the card populations were much lower back then. I can't be sure but I imagine some of those cards probably were 1/1 back then.

    1963 Topps Mantle - $13 k.

    1965 Topps Mays - $2,900

    1967 Topps Mays - $2,400

    Mantles, Mays and many other HOF'ers have seen their PSA 9 prices collapse by 60 or 70%. Nasty stuff.....

    have the prices for PSA 9 super stars (Mantle, Mays ...) increased over the last four years in regular mainstream sets ( Topps, bowman) ?

    Topps and Bowman super stars in PSA 9 have gone down in price over the last 4-5 years (some dramatically). Even something very desirable like a PSA 9 1959 Topps Mantle has a hard time selling on Ebay for 40% of it's original price.

    I guess some of the whales will make up the losses with their low pop PSA 9 commons.

    lucent was 70 today 3 ..country's most widely held stock
    cmgi was 200 today 1?
    enron 90 today 0
    mci 50 today 0
    nortel 90 today 3
    so...the cards werent as bad unless they were
    graded by pro,usa and the like or if they were modern
    psa 10 rookies

    I realize correctly calling a bottom is nearly impossible, but what do you guys think of the price of high grade (PSA 9, 10) superstar cards? Could 60's PSA 9 Mantles and Mays go below $1,000? Does anyone have any early to mid 60's PSA Mantle and Mays for sale at $1,000 each?image
