Question @ PSA submissions and qualfiers

I believe I once read a thread that you can request, on a PSA submission, no qualifiers and PSA will adjust your grade down to compensate on a card that otherwise would have a qualifier. My question is (1) is this true and (2) if so how do you make the request (no place on the form for it) and is it advisable?
In advance, thanks for your help,

It is true and all you have to do is write "no qualifiers" along the margin. The answer as to whether or not is advisible really depends on the cards in question. Poor centering can drop a card from one to several grades.
On a side note, I wanted to send you a PM but you do not have the feature turned on. Should I send you an e-mail instead?

Personally, if the OC is not horrid (see below) I would rather have a PSA 9oc than a PSA 7. They count for the same in the registry, the 9oc will likely sell for more than the 7, you may want to resubmit in hopes of a straight 8 someday, and finally a vintage card 9oc says this is a very special card but for the centering. That counts for extra in my book.
Michael (ZodiacMindwarp): I have turned on my PM (didn't know I needed to but finally figured it out). Thanks for letting me know.

From reading people's opinions on this board,
it seems that most agree that a qualifier kills the value of a card.
So, if you're submitting for resale, you're better off requesting "no qualifiers".
Not sure you can request "no qualifiers" on a card by card basis.
I always just write it across the top and bottom of my submission sheet.
And every once in a while, the request gets ignored anyway ...

Good luck on your submissions.
