Any ideas for the 2005 20th anniv. proof eagle set? Here's mine!

In 1995 the mint put out a 5 coin proof eagle set which had all 4 gold coins and the proof $1 eagle with a W mint mark. Here is my idea for next year:

Since all of the past $1.00 Eagles have either a P, S, or W mint mark, they should mint the 2005 $1.00 Eagle at the Denver Mint and then we'll have all 4 mints, and of course release it with the gold proofs that year and give it the exact mintage of the 1995-W Eagle of 31,000+.

Any one have any ideas for this?

Paul that sounds like a good plan, and I see no reason they could have for not doing exactly that. Going into fantasy land, what about Dahlonega, site of the first gold rush, for the gold. And of course Carson City for the silver. Would that get collectors moving or not? image

As long as we've got classic designs recycled for the obverse of the gold and silver eagles, why not change the reverses to match those of the Walking Liberty half and the $20 St. Gaudens?. I'm not particularly fond of either of the current reverse designs. The eagle on the reverse of the silver coin looks like it splattered against a window, and the wings of the eagle on the gold coins seem to be out of proportion.

Those are both GREAT ideas. Here is another one I came up with.

They used to have Roman Numerals on the gold when the program first started, so why not use "MMV" for 2005 on all denominations for next year. Plus the D for the denver Mint, and the old reverses!
