It looks like your album is turning that polar bear's eyes; ears, and legs black!image

In what type of environment are you storing the albums?

image Kinky!image. I've been contemplating putting mine in the water heater. We must be on the same wave length because I took about 20 Franklins and Kennedy halves, placed them in old W/R pages, and have them in the bathroom linen closet.image

  • Very interesting. Definitely the type of toning but not as much toning as I would have expected...especially considering that is a .999 silver coin.

  • I think that is pretty good for such a short time! I started some Jefferson nickels, including some war nickels, around that time. Mine have no change at all. However mine are in a drawer and it is very dry here. I might try misting the holders with water a bit as it seems the humidity from your bathroom has helped.
  • I thought dampness caused things to turn black and green?????

I have a full set of premium FB silver rossies in one as well, however it has the plastic slides in it and the coins are for the most part kept dry. We will see in 10 years or so.
