    actually murcerfan is among the hobby's most knowledgeable
    and i'm particularly impressed with his expertise on obscure
    and regional cards.

    Sure, you can tell by his vast use of the edit function (as pointed out by Vargha), that he is very proud of his past postings, as he deleted many of them.

    Au contraire, French Fry Head...

    murcerfan may be ambiguous and/or caustic with his wit at times (Who here hasn't Mr. Slivered Potato Head?), but when approached with any questions for help regarding Topps test issues, pre-war, and even vintage non-sports, there are few in this hobby that have the vast knowledge he has and is willing to share it freely... in fact, he has probably crapped more knowledge out of his browneye than you have, or ever will learn, about this vast hobby!

    Maybe so, I just have my own opinion about him. I have read other posts by him, which are now edited by himself, while one post, that I know of, was pulled by the mods.

    If I differ than the rest of the board in my opinion of him, so be it.

    As you say, he may be caustic with his wit. That's OK with me. It just aids in my opinion of him.

    But hey - we're all different - so no worries here!
