Mints delivery system SUX!

Here I am again, stuck at home waiting on FED EX to deliver my 10 2004 silver proof sets. First delivery attempt was Friday. Sure, I could have gone and got them, but I'd have to drive 25 miles in Dallas rush hour traffic. Forget it. Signature required and no, I can't just leave a signed form. It has to be hand delivered.
Last thing I ordered from the was 4 Lewis and Clark C&C sets. Those they sent PARCEL POST and I kept watching the tracking # and they stayed in Dallas for TWO WEEKS before the mailman got around to delivering them. He left them on my front porch because it had delivery conformation, no signature required.
Both these orders have approximately the same value. Why can't they just use PRIORITY MAIL like they used to. The post office is one mile from me and I could go get it anytime I felt like it.
I just feel like I'm being held prisioner by Fed Ex.
Sorry about the ranting.

I feel your pain. I also liked the Priority mail they used until the last year or so. Priority is so much quicker than the terrible system they now use. Service is obviously not a priority to them. Chris
ps. Nice icon Chris!
That is 1 of a few reasons I do the POBox thing....that way, when the mint delivers and a signature is required, the PO signs then I just go to the PO and sign with them and pick up.
Like you, the PO is closer than the Fedex office.
I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

They haven't lost anything yet.
The stuff gets here when it gets here.
