It's bad enough that the Sox are 9 1/2 games out but now besides Oakland, Texas, and Chicago, they also have California to worry about. Sheesh!

I'm not really a fan of either team, but I like to play with numbers. I also firmly believe that the Yankees are blessed while the Red Sox are cursed.
Take this weekend for example. The Yankees played four games at home against the Orioles. The Orioles OUTSCORED the Yankees by 21 runs to 18 runs over the four game series. Yet they only won 1 game. Then Red Sox play three games on the road against the Twins and OUTSCORED the Twins by 15 runs to 11 runs. Yet they only won 1 game as well.
On the year, the Red Sox have scored two MORE runs then the Yankees while allowing 12 FEWER runs. This would indicate that the Red Sox SHOULD have about a 3 game LEAD on the Yankees and yet they are 9.5 games back.

Why do you only post your drivel when the Yankees win, and the Red Sox lose? Last week, where were you? Before I clicked on the Sports Forum page, I just knew there would be a few Gemmy10 turds to step around.
I realize you are a front runner, and just looking to get a rise out of people with these absurd posts, but enough already.
However, we are all fans of one team or another and each of us has had our moments of excess in bashing /praising our team/their team.
If this makes Gemmy happy, so be it. He is not hurting anyone and we have no rule regulating what we choose to read or not.
So if praising the Yankees is his thing, we are all on notice; I find his passion mildly entertaining, but then again I am a masochistic Cubs fan so what do I know.
I was on vacation in the Poconos. LOL
