Anyone else have one of these Kennedy's?

My wife just reminded me she got me one of these mint issued ornaments back in 96. I had forgotten about this. Its a pretty nice clean MS reverse - wonder what the obverse looks like? I guess I never had the heart to hang it on the Christmas tree.

    Hi Ken, I can only assume its a 96 cause its a 96 mint presentation. But I can only guess- It is a real clean reverse so one day curiosity will get the better of me and I will try to remove it from its gold coffin.

    JR dont bother, unless your gonna chuck the coin, as jewerly peieces are concierd junk

    Wow! '96-P's come pretty nice but this one appears even better.

    It looks like it's encased in plastic though and it may be impossible to remove without damage.
    Perhaps it could be done by sawing all around to close to the coin and then driving in a wedge.
    I've never tried it.

    It's still an interesting ornament.

    It is not covered by plastic cladking, the reverse is the coin itself. It is held in place by a gold band that matches the normal reeding along the edge. The reverse is completely covered so I can not see the obverse.
