WOW... I just did the preview. Sorry about the huge images, I will tone it down a little next time!!!!
In my continuing voyage to become at least a little bit competent with the grading of coins, I would like to ask a favor. This is one of the coins that I am practicing on. I think I have the "fine" and "good" and "piece of crap" parts down pretty well, but when the coins starts to get into the XF/AU/MS range my confidence begins to falter.
Now I know that grading from a picture (a crappy scan no less) is not giving a lot to go on, but I am just trying to get an idea.
I can tell you this coin is very bright, and was under a label (in the old album) of "unc". Any feedback would be appreciated, especially what you see that would lead you to say why you graded this coin at this level.
I thank you profusely in advance!!!

Took a half a day to see the whole coin....... As far as the grade. My memory is not long enough to remember what one part looks like after viewing another part of the coin.

I think it's a nice, original, very choice AU.

Again, sorry about the sizes of the pictures. I had no idea they would blow up to that size!!!

i think its a very poorly struck MS coin.
the obverse appears XF at best, while the reverse is high AU to MS.
may be painful at PCGS,but it could be a nice surprise as well !
I think this coin will be my first submission to PCGS. I am anxious about it, but that is half of the fun.
