Mantles and more on ebay...

He clearly states in the auction that these cards are NOT graded? Look at the pictures of the Mantles... That sure looks like a PSA holder to me. Obviously I had to email him and ask where he stole the scans from.

    These auctions have really been making the rounds lately... stealing scans of PSA cards, cropping them down to look "raw" then trying to auction them off to unaware people... I think it's these scumbags' reactions to getting caught with stolen scans with cert numbers... sure, they make less money this way but it is much more difficult to accuse them of scan theft and fraud.

    This is undoubtedly another hijacked account. Ebay ID fickoff has only 2 feedbacks as a seller, 1 seems to be something about airfare. No activity on this ebay ID in about 1 year until now. Granted, the ID alone would cause some concern, but I don't think that's the case here. No doubt it's a scam, though. PSA slabs are clearly visible in several of the pics. Sad!

    I sent him a question about the visible PSA slab showing on the bowman mantles. I wonder what kind of bonehead response I will get........

    Why is there plastic (just like a PSA graded card would have) around some of the cropped pictures if the cards are not graded?

    His response to me was that they ARE in plastic holders but NOT graded. Has anyone contacted eBay?

    This is a very obvious scam. Unbelievable liar here. The cards are not graded. Sorry but the scans in the picture are graded by PSA that is also obvious. Did anyone ask if the sellers scans are the cards that are being auction off. That damn ebay is helping to destroy card collecting with all the new people who get burned these are people that leave card collecting.

    As far as I know, PSA is the only holder with that style of framing to keep the card in place. Lucky for us these scammers are so dumb, or we'd really be in trouble. He does have a future as a comedian, though. "No one can come to my house because my future wife is not comfortable with it."

    i go over and read another ebay post this one regarding the gretsky rookie ksa? i see that a new member claims to be a bidder on it etc......i go see and who is it? VENOMVIN!!!!!! lol he doesnt have his PM on though!! he has a bid for 7k on some bogus auction im wondering if he is a troll....im gonna sit back and watch this.

    tbis is an email i recieved from one of the high bidders in this auction.

    I am pretty sure this is the same person who scammed me outta 900 bucks over a gretzky rookie, this is the same story..ive put 2 high bids on this auction and he took both off b/c he knows who i am.....trying to figure out where he lives...
