I'm all set for Pittsburg, EXCEPT...

I am going to have to do something to keep expenses down. My numismatic research, writing, website work, etc. are all I do for a living, and they don't make much at all. I want to be able to go to the show in Pittsburg but don't think I will be able to because of the expense of a room to stay. If anyone here is going and would want to share a room with me to help hold down their expenses, please let me know. I'm easier to get along with that you might think, and I'm a rather modest, quiet person. Please post here, PM or email me if interested.

If you look like Marilyn Monroe will definitely get some takers.
Seriously, I would think the ANA people offer some type of 'bunk buddy' service for those who want to share a room.

I'm quite far from Marilyn Monroe, unfortunately...but I don't stink and I'm rather pleasant to be around most of the time if that counts for anything at all.

As far as the 'bunk buddy' thing is concerned, could you point me in the right direction on that? Money.org only had hotel reservation services through them, and the cheapest rooms were $135 per night. No way can I swing that on my own and stay for the two to three nights I had planned on.

Thanks, Puff...we still need to work on getting together some time. I believe I will be set up at the next big St. Louis show (September, October time frame) with someone else. Perhaps we could meet up then.

I'm not attending the show. However, I know someone who attends all the shows and does volunteer work for ANA. I'll see if I can get some info from him.

It would depend on whether or not my son would be available then, but ya never know.
