Does this Cap Bust Half make the stman Seal of Approval?

stman always recommends that you buy a nice shiney white one.

He has been quoted as saying, "The crusty ones are bad, the white ones are good!"

I'll polish this one to a nice shiney- white brand new, fresh out of the mint look so that it gets the "OK" stamp by stman.

Oh yeah, the dies are rotated about 20 degrees.

No, I would not bother, it looks just fine the way it is. Normally, these coins should not come bright white.

I'm going to assume you're joking, otherwise I'll start getting agitated..... image
I don't know if it gets his seal of approval, but it sure gets mine- nice coin!

Well it's got green and dark crud on the coin. How can that be appealing? Cool coin and congratulations. I'm assuming it has decent luster and looks to be in the AU55-58 range. If I'm way off no offense intended.image

BTW, crust is a good thang.

  • Thanks stman,

It's in an ANACs AU50 holder. I think it looks undergraded a little. I thint it is in the 53-55 range myself. It seems like ANACs is sometimes off on AU coins a little.

Nice crusty quarter Bailey! Cool dime flyingcougar13! Nice crusty 1/2 dime cladiator!

I was a touch high. I was guessing it had the luster to pull it up higher. Luster is king on these.
