  • I highly recommend fotopic.net.
  • I use fotoptic.net. They give 250mB of free space.
  • Almost forgot to ask if it makes a difference if you use a scanner insted of a digital camera?

I'm ready to dump Andale.com, which I've been paying for (ever since they gobbled up the old Honesty.com, back around the millenium).

But my experience with free image hosting sites has usually been a case of "you get what you pay for". I need something that isn't gonna load like syrup or suddenly show a red-X of something I'm selling, right in the middle of an auction!

Are there any GOOD free services, that allow you to post your pictures elsewhere and link to them? I cannot for the life of me see the use of such services as Angelfire and Tripod. I briefly tried Boomspeed.com, but at the time, they should have called themselves Slugspeed.com.

Oh, coinfreak- I can answer one of your questions, at least- it shouldn't make any difference whether you use a scanner or a camera. All they're gonna care about is your filesize and type of file.

Lord, use fotopic.net! I link to the pictures in my eBay auctions and they work great. Now keep in mind to link to them, not actually use the IMG tags, as at a certain bandwith limit they'll turn to red x's. Here's an example of the nice big pictures they allow. http://cory9484.fotopic.net/p6146263.html
