New York Mets - Acquired infielder Jose Bautista from the Kansas City Royals for catcher Justin Huber; acquired pitcher Kris Benson and infielder Jeff Keppinger from the Pittsburgh Pirates for Bautista, infielder Ty Wigginton and pitcher Matt Peterson; acquired pitcher Victor Zambrano from the Tampa Bay Devil Rays for pitcher Scott Kazmir and pitcher Jose Diaz.

    If the Mets didn't give up Huber to snare Bautista, they would've made out like Bandits on the Benson deal.

    But Kazmir for Zambrano? Duquette won't be in NY much longer.

    zambrona is complaning of tendinitis right now also. real smart mets real smart. huber peterson and kazmir all gone.

    i guess jae seo is gone for a prospect i hope and ginter as well.
