You may be eligable for some freebies, but the Baltimore show was in July. That takes up 5 or 6 days with the show and travel.

The website shows Baltimore being 7/8 to 7/11, thats 4 days. Do you think they will count 5 days travel?

I'm pretty sure they include days for travel. The graders are out of the office those days and they do need to get to and from a show. It would make sense to me.

Thanks tmot99, I would say you are right. I just read their guarantee again and here it is:

"4 coins submitted through the 15 Day Regular Service level and the submission is 5 days late, you will receive 4 vouchers for the 15 Day Regular Service".

So that means they still probably have at least 5 days to complete this without freebies coming in to play.

Yesterday was day number 5 that PCGS had my coin ("your submission was received July 23, 2004") for a 4-day Super Express submission. Does that mean they now owe me a free $50 grading voucher?

If I am interpreting their policy correctly, I believe you should get a freebie. The show schedule was before you submitted your coin.

Dennis, Day 1 is the day after it was received. So you are on day 5, I would say yes!

bearcave: I think you are misinterpreting the wording of that statement in the policy. That statement, is simply saying that you get 1 freebie for every date it's late, but you can only get a number of freebies equal to the number of coins in your submission. So, if you have 4 coins in your submission, and it's 5 days late you get FOUR freebies. Do you understand now? And just because the calender says Baltimore was 7/8-7/11, they were probally out of the office 7/6-7/12... 7/6 to travel, 7/7 to set-up, 7/8-7/11 show is open, 7/12 travel. So, they are probally actually only 2 or 3 days late on your submission...

They usually count a travel day only one day before a show no matter where it is, and since they usually leave to go home on a Sunday, then that is their travel day going back. Add just one extra day to the length of a show and that's it! If the show is nearby (Long Beach or Vegas) then there is no travel day.
