6200+ hits in 24 hours

I posted a thread here last night at about this time. It is titled "Pics of 40 investment grade coins-opinions appreciated". I just checked and the post and attached links received over 6200 hits in less than 24 hours. Wow, what a forum. Thanks to all forum members for making this such an incredible place to share and learn about the fascinating world of U.S. coins.

There aren't nearly enough regular posters to do this so if these numbers are accurate and discreet
there must be far more lurkers than is generally guessed around here.

Is that 6200 unique visitors? If not, perhaps half the number of people visited twice or so.

When you posted your images, how did you load them from disc/computer to your thread?
If so...how do you attach them to your thread?

I tried to do that using the attachment box at the bottom and must be doing something wrong.

A "hit" represents each element on a page - every image, html file, etc. Hits offer geeky data that help server admins balance file loads across the server(s). Unique sessions or unique visitors within a given timeframe is a more accurate indicator of traffic for marketing purposes.

Still, I'm sure people appreciated the thread. I too appreciate this forum very much!
