I'll miss reading the daily posts (although my own contributions have dropped mightily) on the forum while I'm on vacation in Lake Placid for 10 days. Where we are there is no computer and no internet.

    Hey- if you'll unlock the shackles once a day for me to go out and splash around in the lake for an hour or so, and feed me a few decent leftovers, the thought of grading coins to earn my keep doesn't sound so bad. DEAL!

    A little trivia for you. Lake Placid, NY is not on Lake Placid.

    Nor is our stay in lake placid-it's Franklin falls, about ten miles from Lake Placid, about one third of the way up Whiteface mountain.

    But who ever heard of Franklin Falls?
