What should i be hunting for in the halves?

Operation 1: Silver Check
Operation 2: 1974 doubled "RUST" um check but found 0.
operation 3: Finding coins for my collection . check i got 3. 2000P &D and 1999D
what else am i missing

    Watch for the '88-P with the reverse rotated.

    Watch for the '65 with the Franklin Bust instead of the Kennedy Bust, and watch for the '79 Proof with the Walking Liberty Obverse.

    There are very nice DDOs on the 1971-D, 1972, 1973-D, and 1977-D that are very much worth looking for.

    Well i looked at over 135 of the 1974s i got nothign. cept a headache. for as the 88P oh great now ill have to look at all them next. hehe. im surprised there was a 1985 S in the lot of 500$. well commerce is a good bank they let me cash in my coins there. and today i jammed the machine only 4 times. after teh 3rd tiem the girl didnt even leave just stood to see if i was gonna jam it a 4th time ( and i did). wait till they see 494.00 in halves. lucky them. im either gonna end being banned or soemthign form this bank i dont know. but i went home with 4 tshirts today

    It's possible you could find some '87s but don't hold your breath. That's one of the years that was only issued in mint and proof sets. image

    this is a half you should really be hunting for and even if you do not find one you will learn much in your pursute



    but it will not be found at the bank

    With any denomination you should also be watching for gems. These will almost invariably
    be from the current year up to a couple years back depending on the flow of coin through
    the fed. These show up and have always been worth saving.
