I finally completed my IKE Variety Collection!

Well it took quite a while, I had to go looking for a 1972 Type 2 the hard way, but I found one raw that I could register.
The grade finally came back and I am really happy about it.
I am only the 31st person to build a 100% complete variety set of IKEs even if it is at the bottom of the 100% list.
When I think about it, this was a amazingly difficult feat considering that there are only 123 of these 1972 Type 2 IKEs that have been registered MS63 and MS64.
Of course I suspect that there is a couple of guys hoarding all of these, as everytime I tried to buy one, one of these two guys would always get to it before I could our outbid me on it. But at least I have one of the 31 that show up in the registry at the moment.
I couldn't wait to register it in my set, so I'll have a photo added later.
My IKE Variety Collection
Anyway I now have all three IKE collection categories at 100%.

So whats your next obsession?
I am working on finishing a Registered Lincoln Memorial Collection, I am a bit over 80% at this time.
Pretty soon I can submit the last 10% myself and see what happens.
It's a lot tougher set to complete than most people think.
It is especially NICE that you closed it out by making the toughest one yourself!

Why Not Consider A Toned Set , And A Brilliant Ike Set !!

The PCGS free submission benefit when you reach 90% is really nice, and it cameback faster than I was expecting too.
Of course a earlier thread almost made me have a heart attack, as they stated the MS66 type 2 count had gone up by one just a few days before my grade came back.
It had me on pins and needles there for a while.
A toned set is a interesting possiblity too.
Too many choices, to many decisions, not enough money.
Oh well.
Now that's an idea.
I've replaced the 76's and one of the 72's, just need to replace my missing 72-P type II.
What sucks the most is my type II was a PCGS MS64 and I only paid about 50% of what they are going
for now. I might just pass on a 64 and go for a 65 to match my type I and type III MS65's.
Now the real challenge: WORK YOUR WAY TO THE TOP!!!

If I may ask, how did they get stolen?
It might be another thing to watch out for.
