"Dont know if anyone caught the thread on the U.S. Coin forum about Heritages auction last night. Modern Jeff prices are headed DOWN, and HARD....1994-P SMS MS69FS went for $89???? Dark days ahead for Jeffs, it looks like. "

Good Luck,

But currently the Jeff prices were surprising to me. It sort of slowed down my building a Jeff Registry set at this time,
as I'll have to submit small batches from my raw collection to be slabbed over a period of time.
I was surprised at how people were almost fighting over even MS63-64 graded coins.
Then the MS65-66 Jeff's went way off the scale it seems pricewise.
I don't think I want to get into a bidding war over a MS66.

For which date? Both the 2003-D and 2004-P were very tough in 66 much less anything higher. I made the only MS67FS 2003-D - I went through a boat load of coins (almost quite litterally) and others have as well. Ray has the MS67FS 2003-D. I think I had some 65FS coins graded for 2003-D and 9 in MS65 for the 2004P. I could have made more 2004-P's in 65 but I tried to cull them out looking only for the high grade coins. I have 5 more at PCGS that I think have a shot at 67 but that is it.
The SMS coins that jumped in population probably all came from a hoard of mint sets. The coins for 2004-P Peace and the 2003-D's are not going to jump when people go through mint sets. The simply were beat up. Anyone else have thoughts on these?
