Hello everyone. I wanted to ask all of you gold collectors out there if you think this coin is worth $100. I really love this coin but I don't know if I should shell out the $110. I want the 1/2 ounce but I have yet to see one on auction. I know I may sound ignorant in regards to gold but I like this coin for more than its bullion value. Feel free to enlighten me.

Based on what you said, get it.

Even a 1/4 oz bullion coin would sell around the $110 mark (roughly 15% above bullion), the mark up percentage increases as the coin size gets smaller, it reaches around 35% for 1/20 oz coins (retail prices).

If you want the coin for more than the bullion value, then only you can decide how much you are willing to pay.
