Except for the big boys I'm almost done completing a 1952 Bowman baseball set (mix of graded and raw) and I want to start collecting another set. I'm going to go all PSA this time, probably 5-6. What are your suggestions on my next set? Factoring in price availability etc. I'd like to stick to something in the 50's but that's not set in stone. I love the 53T set but those mutha's are expensive. Any suggestions you can give are appreciated. Thanks.

Scott

    anyone?
  • The SMR for '53's is 9822 in a PSA 5 and 15634 in a 6.

    What's your price range?

Edit to add 53 Bowman Color is real nice - the SMR in a PSA 5 is 7161 and the set is smaller - 160 cards.

I don't really have a price range, I was just planning on taking it slow and scooping up anything that's on ebay or otherwise. I'm beginning to like the 55T.

    Scott,

I am doing the 53 Bowman Color,55T,and 56T sets in "8's"or better, the first two slowly and the latter aggressively. The 56 set is awesome and 5-6 range is readily available and very affordable as well as having all the major stars. That would be my suggestion.Whatever you chose,Good Luck and congrats on your 52 Bowman set.

Please be kind to me. Even though I'm now a former postal employee, I'm still capable of snapping at any time.
