Grades?

OK ive heard of the usual suspects in grading

fair 2
ag3
g4
g6
vg8
vg10
f12
f15
f18
vf20
vf25
vf30
vf35
xf40
xf45
au50
au53
au55
au58
ms60-70

but i never hear or have seen the inbetween numbers
do you all ever have seen them any scans . id be interested in seeing the inbetween graded coins

There are no in between grades--there are coins that are high or low end for the number, but there are no decimals or numbers not on your list used in numismatics.

The grading services don't use the in-between numbers and as a result collectors never have either.

Might that be the other way around Cameron ? Weren't collectors around before the grading services ?

ive seen ads with au59,vg7,au51, and vf36. are these just BS grades or what

I should add that F18 doesn't really exist, so far as I know...

Both. Collectors started it (well, dealers) and the slabbers adopted it and expanded it. Now customers follow the slabbers lead.

VF36 would be kinda cool. Better than VF, tickling XF, but not quite there yet, just tickling XF. You know what I mean.?
