I thought this was going to be a great product but looking on ebay tonite im not to impressed. I dont like the hand written serial numbers and it looks like its going to be loaded with 80's cards as auto's. 300$ a box srp is almost as big a gamble as exquisite. here is an item number for you to see some of these.

There is a Lou Brock 1975T Buy back #9/9 for auction right now. That might be worth bidding on. I don't think this is going to be as good of a product as we(I) first thought. I am thinking you'll see a few big hits and that'll be it. The 1/1 big time rookies are all you're chasing. Kind of like exquisite.

who is considering buying some of this stuff look long and hard at that list. I really thought that this was
going to be a great product but what it turned out to be is an expensive fan favorites! Even the few Nolan
Ryan's I have seen are on 84 topps and the such. I have seen no 50's or 60's cards and looking at the
checklist topps could get away with putting only 70's and newer in the release as both Mays and Yogi
have cards in the 70's.
I have a box on hold at the card shop but if certified turns out to be a winner like last year I might not
buy any topps originals.

boxes would get their money back. Supposedly there is a Cobb cut already on the bay....Maybe Joe Orlando
can tell us if it is real or not.
Actually I like the look of last years certified better but the boxes are loaded again this year.

OH MY COBB, what a scan!
notice how, in the Flair Cobb, the end of the top of the "T" and the end of the bottom of the "R" come down and then curve back up
but, in the Greats Cobb, the top of the "T" and the bottom of the "R" come down and stop straight
the "y" and "o" also do not match up
Cobb checks on the market can range over 30 years apart (pre 1930 to 1960+) . How will your signature look in 30 years from now? I think the top one is much older than the bottom one.
