Congrats to BXBMD on his 1967 set

Let me be the first to congratulate Larry Bliss (BXBMD) on completing his 1967 set - Larry came on with a flurry and completed this set I think within record time- take it from a guy who is so close - a remarkable accomplishment especiaaly considering a weighting of 8.15! - will the guru be next?

    Congrats, Larry .....

You certainly have been focused - determined - and driven to complete your set.
I know you and I have done several deals in the past and in a very small way I'm glad I could help you put the "Finished" stamp on your set.

Best wishes on your future endeavors .....

Larry: Congrats on wrapping it up so soon. I hope I can help you improve your set as time goes by. Without your assistance, I wouldn't be where I am on the set. I will probably will finish sometime this year as all I have left is one card, and unless someone wants to start hording all of them, I have confidence I will complete it. Nearly all of the '67 guys are great to deal with, and very active with their sets--even those no longer on this message board.

Thank you all for your very kind words. It has been great fun and a pleasant diversion from the stresses of everyday life to have worked on this set. It has taken me 10 months to complete, which I gather from everyone's comments is somewhat faster than usual. I must say that I could never have done it without the help of everyone on this thread, and I am deeply grateful to you all. I have found the collaborative and collegial atmosphere of the 1967 registry guys to be outstanding. I will remain active with this set as there are still some cards that need upgrades; also I will be selling off my duplicates on ebay over the next several weeks. If anyone has any interest in these cards (see "Capecards Duplicates"), please let me know.

    Thank you all once again.

    Larry,

Congrats on getting done and making the top five all time, too

So...what was your LAST card to complete the registry ??(mine was Etchebarren).

I know you spent a lot to get there seeing how many of my $100+ dollar
bids on commons (as I try to upgrade from 100% graded to 100% 8 NQ or better)
were beaten by your bids! LOL

Do you have stats on your ten most expensive cards? (Toppsgun did this
a while back, was very interesting)

Paul, 1967topps on ebay, here and the registry, still needs 1967 PSA 8 (I'm
    not afraid to list them...):
    21 Dave Bristol
    26 Bob Priddy No Trade
    163 Vic Roznovsky
    186 Mets Maulers
    395 Chris Short
    421 Dal Maxvill
    424 Pedro Gonzalez
    482 Bill Monbouquette

1967and 1973 Topps baseball wantlists (any condition) welcome. Once had the #14 ATF 1967 set. Yet another collector like skylaneflyer, gimel1 who made it to the completion of 1967 only to need the money more than the company of 609 close friends.
Looking for oddball Norm Cash and Cleon Jones stuff, and 1956 team cards
