Did AOL buy Ebay? (or vice versa) My Ebay pages are now routing through an aol proxy/server:

http://cgi.aol.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem (not a link just showing)

Mine do not show AOL. Maybe your computer has bees taken over by the AOL virus.

oops I think it came from a link that Stone provided in another thread. Damn hijacking people cant they (not Stone) leave our crap alone.

EDIT yup a shutdown and restart of IE fixed it...

Ebay uses several comapny "sponsors" on their pages.
AOL is just one of them. I think Home Depot is another,
but it is easy to get rid of... just edit the address line
and remove the company name (and the extra .) from the line.

    so that it becomes
    http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem
