Top 10 stressors that caused my heart attack

10. Hartland man stressing me out about the tickets to the Indians game Thursday.image

9. Not finding any cards I need for my 61 set at a price less than ridiculous.

8. Arriving at the setbuilders table to find Jay (qualitycards) beat me to the 61 book.

7. Having an Italian sausage at every ballpark on the way to the Nationals. (PNC, Wrigley, and Comerica)

6. Eating that rack of ribs Thursday afternoon at Shooter's on the Cuyahoga river.

5. Having way too much fun at the Indians game Thursday night with King and the guys. (Thanks for setting that up, King)

4. Watching the Cubs lose a heartbreaker to the Cardinals Monday night, all the while have the loudest foulest mouth cubs fan sitting right behind me.

3. Worrying so much about my dad having a heart attack while we were out of town. How ironic.

2. Having gone 6 days without signing on to these boards, or checking Ebay auctions.

And #1...............Being led on a wild goose chase Wednesday night trying to find Tom Papa(Gosoxbosox) and the guys through some of the worst neighborhoods in Cleveland, whiile driving alone. We finally got together at the Tiki Tiki bar in an area called the Flats under a bridge on the river. Thank goodeness for the GPS. IT was a great time, even if we were a little out of place.

  • I knew it. I just knew it.

I'm SO relieved to see you posting.

I was sure I was forever doomed to some weird purgatory of sitting at a little square bar in the middle of hell waiting for you to come get your baseball game tickets so I could then advance to the next level.

    I'm glad you're ok.

    Whew.

Say "Hi" to your Dad for me, hope he's ok too!
  • glad to hear your doing better.

    Buckwheat,
The Flats is all but deserted nowadays. It seems as if there were a few accidents there and law suits erupted against the bar owners. I drove down there Thursday and it was basically closed down.

    Glad your feeling better.

    Red wine is good too.

  • Geeeez Rob? I'm not going down alone on this. King Kellogg and Tipem were both driving the cars that led the posse into hell. I was innocent of any wrong doing!!!! Haven't you noticed that the King is unmistakenly quite? I believe he fled to Mexico image

Seriously, most of us felt pretty silly at the PSA luncheon talking about cards when we were unsure of your status. That was flat-out scary stuff last Friday.

Glad to see your back to having fun. In the hospital you looked better than every one of us which made the rest of the trip better because we had something to celebrate...and we did just that with you in mind!!

I'm sorry you missed the show but thrilled you had a happy ending. We'll talk soon.
