I think NGC is a fine company, but slabs like these don't bode well in my opinion.

Chambers has been hocking these BU Slabs on CV the last two nights. I think it's a marketing gimmick to glamorize MS 61-63 Morgans.

Numismanic is correct. It is an NGC slab specially made up for Coin Vault. I first saw ones similar to those in July of 2003. I say similar because those were a different variety with the ANA Lamp of Knowledge hologram on the reverse while this one has the just recently retired ANA Crescent hologram reverse label.

Barry if you aren't planing to chase it, I would like to go for it to add it to my reference set.

Oh yeah...Coinguy is correct...these coins BARELY make the grade.

Chambers admitted that if the coin was under MS64 it goes in the Lazy grade holder
they use one grader and one finalizer.
set of 3 was only 169.99 for the 99o 00p and 01o

I don't care what the Morgan grades. It could have a hole through it and it wouldn't matter to me. All I'm interested in is the slab.
