What would a POP29 PCGS 2000-D Mass quater be worth?

What would a POP29 PCGS 2000-D Mass quater be worth? I have a candidate and was wondering what these bring. Usually I don't do the state quarter thing but this coin is very nice. It seems the MS67's bring about $25 which, IMO, is not worth sending in after the time, shipping, etc. But in MS68 what would this bring on Ebay?

  • clackamas,

I believe that you deserve an answer to your question...

It would probably bring in about $60-75 at auction. It would have to be REALLY strong to hit MS68 - so I would be triple-sure before submitting it.

Have you held it up to the light at an angle away from you (as opposed to looking directly at the coin)? If there is chatter on the upper surfaces, it will not make 68.

    Best of luck!

I agree but sometimes you come into a coin outside of your normal specialty that is very nice.

Given their popularity, I'd guess about $100 or more. But then again, I'm not an expert in this series.

are you talking about the coin? or the plastic?

the coin's worth a buck or so.
