Economy TAT beats Modern TAT!

Got economy grades in 49 days! But the Modern submission rec'd. on the same day has yet to be graded.

The grades were brutal! Worst submission results I have gotten in several years. I am starting to appreciate the Hepkitty method of many submissions of relatively small numbers of coins. If I had gotten hammered like that on a 100 coin submission, I would be seriously bummed!

    What was the submission number?

I've had a few friends all say the same thing - that their grades lately have been "brutal". One little guy who is a Registry Set participant and has a good eye is REALLY upset. I had to talk him out of writing a "nasty letter". This little fella is the nicest guy

you'd ever want to know and for him to be this upset is really unusual. I wonder what's going on. All this talk of brutal grades is keeping me from submitting even my freebies!
  • I submitted four Morgans for my Freebies and the grades came back like I expected and Ok for me.
Maybe I am thinking on the right track.
Several years ago I submitted four Morgans for my freebies, and one came back bodybagged as having been cleaned.
I am still pondering that one though.

PCGS has reached a new low, slow grading and bad grades.

Way to go, that will keep customers coming!!!

Yep, and I'm still waiting for my submissions to finish. My "freebies" 21 biz days were up last week and I'm still waiting.
  • TAT= turnaround time, totally titless.

    The invoice is 3116486.

Let me say though, none of these are off by more than 1/2 a grade point or so. I would have to describe the grades as accurate but on the ultra conservative side. I say "brutal" only as in reference to most of my invoices lately, which have been sunshine laden for the most part.

This is why PCGS has been, and will remain, the market leader.
