PSA Submissions

Just wondering, when bulk submitting to PSA (more than 100 cards), have any of you skipped the label on the back of each card. I have an ordser ready to go and am dreading the labels.
Always buying high grade Mike Schmidt and Steve Carlton cards!!!

Why do that? Unless you are looking for ways to have your order delayed.

    Loves me some shiny!
  • I never do anything that might slow down, create additional work for PSA or hinder any of my submissions.

To speed up large submissions, Ive simply purchased some ordinary label sheets and printed them out using Word with the invoice # and the word "Line". Then all you have to do is write in the line # with a pen and off you go.

    Good luck with the submission!!

If you are doing a bulk submission of the same card and it's only one line on the submission sheet with a quantity of 50 or 100, I don't see why each card has to be in its own Card Saver with identical stickers that say sub. #XXXXXXX Line 1. Makes more sense to package the stack of identical cards in the secure manner of your choosing and put one sticker on that. I realize each card will be graded individually, but the fact that they can be placed on one line with a "quantity" suggests that PSA is trying to reduce processing time on such lots.

I wonder how the bulk submitters of modern material send in their stacks of identical cards?

CS1s, for a variety of reasons:

    1. Keeps the cards secure and in their original condition.

    2. Provides for easy insertion and removal.

    3. You can inspect the cards easier prior to removal.

    4. I would assume it allows the graders to create stacks or piles of cards easier for things like reviewing by another grader, etc.

    5. They protect your cards from in company handling damages that would occur if you sent them in anything other than CS1s, such as toploaders, penny sleaves or 50/100 mini boxes.
