CoinEdge Holders - slightly OT

Review of item bought...

I bought some CoinEdge Holders (from the ANA) for some of my raw Morgan and Peace dollars. These holders are PVC-free and allow you to see the edges of the coins. Not bad at all for $18.95 (ANA member price) for 100.

I give them 3.5 stars out of 5.

  • Sounds like a good investment to me.

I thought about these for my world coins but opted for 2x2s because of price and size considerations.

Those look very nice- but I'm guessing that those won't fit into the vinyl sheets that hold 2x2 holders... do you have something to display or hold these coinedge holders??

There's a dealer out in Utah (Monarch) that sells coins in those and I always wondered what they were and where to get them.

    Now I know.

    Kinda cool
  • They are not really meant for holders. I thought they were nice because they allowed you to view the edges of the coin. If you want to put the coin in a book, then you really don't care to view the edges of the coins in question.

The other big bonus was the PVC free part.

They just snap together and are hard to get back apart. Just an overall nice design to hold your cheap coins and allow you to hold the coins and study them.

I remember seeing those a while back. Thanks for the reminder!

Brent-Krueger has them on their website and the page holders for the coinEdge holders

  • Well... What do you know... They can go into books.

    Thanks for the link.

You can see in the link how the holder makes it possible to easily view the edge of the coin. A really clever (and simple) design.
