Is the qualifier the kiss of death?

I know most won't go after qualified cards for their registered sets, but I can't believe some of the raw set collectors out there don't pick up these deals.
Check this one out - 1960 Topps #478 Frank Torre PSA 9
Yeah, the seller is an ass for not listing it as "OC", but does the card look that bad? I don't think so. I have a friend that collects this set raw in EX+ condition. I wish I had seen the auction earlier. I would have bought it for him.

I'm still surprised that it didn't get more bids - maybe the reserve scared some bidders. This seller is even more of an ass now!

Either way, most see an "oc" listed on the flip, and they don't persue it.
Here's a nice top to bottom "oc" card that presents very well...jay

This is the reason the OC qualifier has to go. Let the buyer decide for himself if the card is too off centered for their collection. I have seen many 8 and 9 OC's that I would have purchased had it not been designated as such.
