Some coins look equally as attractive worn as their uncirculated counterparts.
Here's my example.

Did someone carry it in their pocket for 18 years?
Did someone have it in a bezel, like a piece of jewelry?
Did someone rub it between their hands for an hour every day for 6500 days?
Could it be a missattributed die trial?
Could it be a missattributed struck through heavy grease?
Whatever it is , its the HOW? and WONDER? that makes the hobby interesting and I commend you for collecting regardless of "INVESTMENT" potential. Its a unique area of collecting, kind of like Cameron with his sample slabs. You control the enjoyment of your hobby, thats what counts!

I almost got my hands on the only VG08 PCGS Hawaiian, but thought $800.00 was too much (this was about six years ago...).
Now I wish I'd have picked it up as there are simply NO others, anywhere.
