My best picture ever of a Kennedy

I have a black cardboard rectangle taped on my camera for a black reflection on proof coins, but it only fits slabs.

I took it outside so what the cardboard doesn't cover is the sky (and on the reverse the roof of my back porch).

I listed it on eBay for $36 and BIN of $48 and it sold today for $48

Anyway I thought the obverse of the Kennedy was a good picture.

The obverse is a great picture. And thanks for the tip with the black cardboard!

    Relayer,

I love to shoot outside because it's possible to get "hot" full spectrum diffuse light, and I love the results you got with the obverse. I like the Lincoln reverse pic too. I frequently play with shadow in sunlight on proofs to highlight different traits of the coin. The picture below is one I took last year of one of my SMS Washingtons using the exact the technique you used in the second shot.
