Proof set question

Does anyone know why the 2002 silver proof set fetches such a high price but the 2001 and especially the 2000 proof set still go for about issue price?

DBBird, The 2001 Silver Proof Set is doing very well, the 2000 not so hot. As to why, no idea.

Yeah the 2001 does fetch a high price too but why is 2000 left so far behind. Anyone think its a smart idea to buy a few and wait a little...or where there just too many minted!
