Colin Cooke has the 1952 halfcrown
but he's not selling it.
The coin was found in change by a chap in Chelmsford named Horace Burrows. He sold it for £1700 to an American collector through an auction house.
And now, the rest of the story from Colin's site.
I guess this has been up for more than a year, but it's the first time I've viewed it.

You may be right, but I suspect we won't find one in the US. True, 1942, 1943 and 1944 3ds are easy to get here because they were colonial issues, but the 1945s supposedly never left the mint, so if they did they would be in some tray in an antique store somewhere in a sleepy English or (porbably) Scottish town.
