Material composition of Jefferson nickels since WWII?

Don't all nickels (aside from errors) minted since 1946 remain .750 copper and .250 nickel? My Red Book is dated 1981, and someone is trying to tell me the nickel content was reduced in 1984. If so, then I'm certainly unaware of it.

Thanks in advance, and I'll thank you again for your reply.

Regards,
Dan

Yes, as far as I know, the prewar composition was resumed without any changes in 1946.

  • Thank you, Lord! That was fast! I think I am over due for a new Red Book.
