Something smells about this Mantle rookie

51 Bowman Mantle PSA 8 ... 1-day listing. Buy It Now of $3,999 is less than 25% of SMR. Pre-approved bidders only. Last feedback was in May, seems to be a seller of cheap books.

All these red flags seem to point to a dormant, hijacked account. No bids, despite a starting point of $99, so maybe it's obvious to everyone.

There are no bids because that's how the scam works. Any emails sent to them about being pre-approved are answered AFTER the auction is over. Then they try and sell it outside of eBay. Over the last couple of months there have been 100+ of these auctions and it's tough to track if anyone has gotten screwed because they're all off eBay also they have to move around, hijacking old, dormant accounts.

Someone had posted the contact info this guy gave on an old thread - I think it's someone in England doing these scams.

This guy is a clever scammer and arch criminal. Avoid him like the plague because he is a disease. I don't know why this guy is not in prison because he certainly should be.
