How do you keep track of Internet coin auctions you are watching/bidding on?

There are many ways to do this:
* Using each particular site's "watch this auction" function.
* Placing a token bid on a lot and then watching your bid list.
* Spreadsheet
* Post it notes
I'm curious as to the methods used by others, and maybe I or someone else
will learn a trick or two!
I currently have an "Auctions" folder set up in my Internet "Favorites". When I
find a coin of interest I add the page to my favorites, editing the description to
be something like this:
eBay Jul29-2345 1943-S 5c PCGS MS67FS pop12-3 color
This tells me the web-site, ending date/time (24-hour format), date/mm, denomination,
grading service, grade and any short notes I may want to include.
I keep my Favorites/Auctions folder sorted by ending date by moving any newly-added
entries to their proper position within the list. As auctions expire, or are no longer of
interest, I delete them.
This works pretty well for me and keeps every coin I'm watching in one place, with a
consistent way of managing things.

I only bid on eBay, eBayLive or Teletrade
On eBay, if the price is still low enough I'll place a bid otherwise it goes on the watch list. I really like the Note feature on eBay now so I can record my price and notes.
Otherwise I just place one bid and either win it or not (and usually not)

For other sites, I set a reminder in my Outlook Calendar to beep me.

Typical reason: I've already got one, and want to see what the current market thinks of them. Or, I'm thinking about buying one, but don't have the necessary resources at the moment. Or it's otherwise interesting in some esoteric way. Lots of reasons.
I tried setting up folders on my "favorites" program, but I found it to be too much hassle.
I usually only bid with seconds left, unless I'm not going to be around my computer when the auction closes. In that case, I might place a reasonable bid and let the chips fall where they may.
