Hello,
Still new to you guys, and slightly obsessed with a set from 2004.
There is one card from 2004 Topps Finest Baseball that I have never seen - the FInest Moment Autograph by Duke Snider. I have searched and searched, and also have never seen it on EBAY.
At this point, this is the only card I need.
Any idea on if it even exists? Any info appreciated.

P.S. The quality of this set is nice, but the errors are silly. Schilling and Sexson cards both the wrong 2003 team on the back, and the Willie Mays autograph finest moment is from 1951 Rookie of the YEar for NY Giants, yet on back says "San Francisco Giants." Any idea what these minor errors mean?

into a box and left. I try to find sets that list compete stats on the back, which are getting harder to find. Most
likely the cards that have incorrent info on them are non-corrected and thus not worth anymore. The last error
card that I can remember that was actually corrected was in UD vintage a while back. It just isn't done
that often today, plus companies really don't care about accuracy of stuff like that.
I bet at this point you would pay the 40 dollar high beckett book value for the Snider! It seems like of silly that
a card that is so rare and might not even exist books for only 40 bucks! LOL
You have a few options...contact topps, who might or might not know if the card exists. You can also contact
beckett and make the subject like of your email something catchy like "Snider card listed that doesn't
exist" If you can get their attention they might look into it for you.
Good luck with your set!
Kevin
We came across the message board after I started sending in some of my 70's cards for grading.
Topps Finest 2004 is "my" set while the kid likes to "accumulate." Incredible what some of the 2004 cards go for...
I have only received 7's and 8's for 1973 to 1976 for about 25 cards and am frustrated. That said, I have about 2,000 1975 cards to go through and really learn what is most valuable. Trying to put a set into a binder has been a long, long process...

As to the Snider, if you haven't seen it on ebay, it probably did get pulled from production. Snider is the kind of mid-level guy that people can sell but never goes for very much, and it's unlikely that someone buying 2004 Finest will be an "end user" for a guy who many collectors today never heard of. So I think at least one would've been posted in the past 2 weeks. But keep looking. You never know if some were actually made and snuck out like last year's Sweet Spot Classics Carew, if you find one you could have a sweet card.
You might call Topps or post a message to Beckett's boards, or send an email to their "Error & Variation" guy, who has a little feature in each issue.
