79s Rev of 78

Been looking for one for quite a while now. Still looking for a nice one. The pop report says only 2,700 from Ms60 to MS63. From what I have read there was aprox 500,000 minted. The mintage for a common 79s is aprox 8.6 M. So, why doesn't the rev of 78 command a substantial premium.

This Morgan is very tough in MS63 and higher... especially PL and DMPL. I am not able to offer a reasonable explanation as to why it remains undervalued. I have a feeling many Morgan sets are assembled that overlook this significant variety. The same can be said for the 1880-CC Rev of 78. It is tough in high grade, but not as tough as the 1879-s Rev of 78 in high grade.
