Bogus Paypal Email

I got this today and it's bogus:



"You have added laptopseller@yahoo.com as a new email address for your
PayPal account.

If you did not authorize this change or if you need assistance with

    I checked my paypal account (but not through the link supplied in the email) and no new email address had been added. Its bogus.

    I read about it on the PayPal Forum in the Community of Ebay.
    Young Numismatist that collects: Morgan Dollars, SAE, Proof Sets, and Liberty Nickels.
    I also love to go through rolls to find coins.

  • I got that email also, with the same email address saying to have been added.

    With mine, if you clicked the link, the real paypal site came up, but if you looked at your taskbar, you would see another servlet running ready to capture your info.

    You've got to be careful these days, those "phishermen" are getting smarter.

    Its bogus. I got the exact same notice with the exact same name. Don't click on the link
    in the e-mail. Just delete it.

    Pure spam for the uninformed !!!!

    I guess they can fool some of the people some of the time !!!
