Throw away the price guide tonite w/ANR results ;)

I had my hopes up for that 1827 Dime stunning stunning - drool central dime - but of course the floor ate it up and sold for $11,000. Seems most of the lots if not ALL are selling to the floor

The cents a few minutes ago sold for solid 340K, 180K & 110K.

Yes, I made what I laughingly thought were solid bids on two coins...One closed for just over twice my bid and the other realized 8200.00 over my (barely) 5 figure bid which would have been the most I had ever paid for a coin. Who said prices are softening?

The one I could not believe was the 1805 Dime in 67......$149,500.00 WOW!!!!

Even though I did not see it, I would not be surprised to see that 1806 quarter upgrade to 65 (NGC or PCGS) Even if it doesn't, I doubt there are very many 65's as nice as it overall.

Seems like there was fever in the room.

Nice coins are bringing spectacular prices. And these were very nice coins. That 1839-O half price was amazing!

One of my favorites was the 1795 half... I'm surprised it didn't go for a bit more.
